Bright Colors

I'm working on finishing up the third book in The Last Line series.
The first book is being edited, and I've got thousands of good ideas for where this is going.
For the first time EVER I actually sit down to work on a chart to figure out where this series is going and I feel so accomplished!! ^_^
And now that I've put so much hard work into it, I have determination to finish it! Hallelujah!
So I'm happy. Plus Joe Brooks is keeping my mood colorful! Here's one of my favorite songs to wake up too, it's really a cute song :)
I am also finding that I'm wearing my navy blue high-tops more often. I love those shoes! :)
Anyways I hope ya'll are having such a great summer and I hope ya'll are ready for school to start! :P
(Psh yeah right eh? Hahah!!)

I've found myself
I've found it!
I've figured it out!!
I'm me. No one else. I don't need to model myself after anyone else!! I don't HAVE to fit in! I don't HAVE to be like everyone else! I just need to be ME! That's all God asks of me! Who cares of what everyone else thinks? Who cares what everyone says when they see my praying hands, and my tender heart?! I know I don't!! ♥ I've found myself in the Lord and that's all the security I need. That's the only person that matters.
I'm an MK, I'm a fatherless girl, I'm a broken heart, I'm a homesick person. But it's ALL of those things that make up ME! No one else is exactly like me! And I'm not exactly like anyone else! And I don't need to be!
The Lord has filled me with grace, passion, beauty, hope, and love.
And that's all I ever need.
So what about you?

The Key to My Garden
The key to my
Garden,
Hangs around my neck.
As I walk through
my garden,
I'm sad and depressed.
My flowers refuse
to bloom,
and the weeds choke
out all their food.
Is it something I did?
Or something I didn't?
I hear You call
out to me,
from outside the garden gates.
I sigh in relief as
I let You in.
Handing over the key
To my garden,
I will let You
plant what I need
and dig up what I don't.
My garden is
Yours
to do with as You
please.
Plant flowers of Love
and trees of Virtue.
Dig up weeds of Evil
and vines of Poison.
As long as you have
The key to my
Garden gates,
I will let You
Change my
Heart.
